The Work of Shin Noguchi

Every now and then I highlight the work of a photographer I've come across who may not necessarily be world famous but is nonetheless great. I found Shin Noguchi's images on Flickr and they're noteworthy because of the breadth of his visual style and his subtle - and I suspect very Japanese - sense of humour. He's also very prolific which is a quality that shouldn't be underestimated. You can't take great pictures unless you take pictures. Shin's blog is here, and you can see he's won a few prizes. He should win more.

My personal fave is this shot...an image you must look at very closely. You may also want to click out of the lightbox and read about it in the comments.
